Privacy Policy
This policy describes how Blue Eco Line S.r.l. processes the personal data of users who visit this website and interact with the company, pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Italian law. This English version is provided for convenience; in case of inconsistency, the Italian version prevails.
Data controller
The data controller is Blue Eco Line S.r.l., with registered office at Via Faentina 233, 50133 Florence, Italy, VAT no. 06877030483. For requests relating to personal data, you can write to info@blueecoline.com.
Data processed
Browsing data. The IT systems and software procedures that operate this website may acquire, in their normal course, data whose transmission is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols, such as IP addresses, request times, requested URLs, server response codes and browser parameters. This data is used to enable browsing, ensure site security, prevent abuse and check that the website works correctly.
Data provided voluntarily. The forms on the Contact page open the user's email client and prepare an email addressed to Blue Eco Line. The processed data may include full name, body or company, email address, region or sector, type of waterway, use case description and the message content. Providing this data is optional but necessary to receive a reply.
Data collected through analytics tools. If the user gives consent through the cookie banner, the website may use Google Analytics 4 to obtain aggregate statistics on page usage, traffic sources, device/browser used and the main interactions with the website. Google Analytics 4 is not loaded before analytics consent.
Purposes and legal basis
- Website operation and security: processing necessary to make the website available and based on the controller's legitimate interest in ensuring security, integrity and service continuity.
- Replying to contact requests: processing necessary to reply to the data subject's requests and to take pre-contractual or organisational steps requested by the data subject.
- Analytics statistics: processing based on the user's consent, which can be withdrawn at any time through the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.
Retention period
Data sent by email or mailto forms is kept for the time needed to handle the request and, as a rule, for no longer than 24 months from the last interaction, unless further legal obligations or the need to protect the controller's rights apply. Technical website logs are kept for the time strictly necessary for security, maintenance and technical diagnosis, according to the hosting service settings. Cookie preferences are stored in the browser for up to 6 months. Analytics cookies, if accepted, are configured for a maximum duration of 395 days.
Recipients of the data
Data may be processed by providers that supply services instrumental to the operation of the website, email and company digital tools, appointed as processors where required. For Google Analytics and YouTube, data may be processed by Google Ireland Limited and other Google group companies according to their respective policies and terms. Data is neither disclosed nor transferred to third parties for Blue Eco Line's direct marketing purposes.
Third-party services and transfers
The website may include third-party content or services, in particular Google Analytics 4 and YouTube videos in enhanced privacy mode. YouTube videos on public pages are loaded only after a user click, to avoid preventive connections to YouTube during the simple page load. The use of services provided by international groups may involve data transfers to countries outside the EU; such transfers take place under the safeguards provided by the GDPR, including, where applicable, standard contractual clauses.
Cookies and similar tools
For more information on cookies, analytics tools and consent management, please see the Cookie Policy.
Rights of the data subject
The data subject may ask the controller for access to personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection to processing and withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
Exercising rights and complaint
To exercise your rights, you can write to info@blueecoline.com. The data subject also has the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
Changes
This policy may be updated over time. Any changes will be published on this page with the date of the update.
